We place interns within Beijing companies. We combine internships with a programme that includes Chinese classes and accommodation. This School is committed to the development and nurturing of young talent in all industries at all levels.

Our services include:
- Internship placement
- Accommodation in single rooms in modern apartments in central Beijing
- 2 hours of Chinese classes per day
- Assistance with the visa application and the registration in Beijing

For our client, we are currently looking for an intern for the following position: Manager of Corporate Communications

Starting date: July 2010
Duration: 6 months
Allowance: to be determined

Daily tasks:
1. Identify and plan external and internal corporate communications strategies and programs through proactive and strategic corporate communications programs
2. Develop and manage corporate events (e.g. Office openings) to facilitate and reinforce market/brand awareness
3. Develop and implement sustainable media relations programs and advertising strategies/programs, particularly co-branding opportunities; maintain strong relationships with local media and agencies and initiate press releases, media briefings etc to regularly raise visibility in the target press outlets
4. Identify high-profile public speaking opportunities for business leaders to ensure high-level visibility in the local market
5. To identify and organize community activities and engage participation of local employees
6. Employee communications and internal info-sharing (brand training for new hires, news bulletin etc) to ensure consistency of brand-related initiatives in local offices
7. Website maintenance to ensure timely updates
8. Carry out any other assignments as directed by the Director of Corporate Communications, Greater China

Vereisten

Requirements:
1. Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin skills
2. Degree in Communications/Journalism/Public Relations/Marketing or other related disciplines
3. Working experience preferred
4. Good communication and organizational skills
5. Independent, self-motivated and creative
6. Committed, highly flexible, and willing to learn and take up new responsibilities
7. Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
